Title 1: We need your help!

As a Title One school, we are required to develop a Parent and Family Engagement Plan and a School Compact for Learning – and we need your input.  Please join us for one of our parent input meetings on

Monday, October 30, 2017 at

8:30 am or 4:30 pm.

If you are unable to attend, and would like to provide input on the Title One documents, please contact Jeni Dyer at 863-259-4001 or jeni.dyer@polk-fl.net.

THANK YOU

Thank you so much for supporting our Book Fair.  We had a goal of selling 1200 books, which equals 216,000 minutes of reading. We not only met, but exceeded that goal, reading over 1400 books.   That translates into over 4000 HOURS of reading.  The books ordered online have been delivered and the Book Fair carts have been taken away. Not only does the Book Fair help our students read, but we earned almost $5000 to spend on books and materials for our school. We couldn’t do it without your support.  Special thanks to our fabulous volunteers, who worked countless hours to help our Fair succeed.   We appreciate all your do for us.

Annual Title 1 Meeting

Our Title 1 Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 28th after Open House. It will be from 6:30 – 7:00.

Book Fair

Our Book Fair has been rescheduled and will run from 9/21 to 9/28. We will be open during Open House on the 28th from 4:30 – 6:30.  We will be open every day from 7:30 to 2:00.  You can preview the Book Fair, find the FREE Book Fair app, and shop online here: http://www.scholastic.com/bf/citrusridgeacivicsacademy

Every book purchased from the Book Fair helps our school provide even more books and materials for students at our school.  We do have to pay sales tax, so please help our students understand that!
